Hernando County Environmental Lands-

Mike Singer, Conservation Lands Specialist for Hernando County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Program, graduated from Saint Leo University with a Bachelor's of Science, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Mike worked for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for eight years, most recently as a regional biologist within the Invasive Plant Management section for Citrus and Sumter counties.
He took over the Hernando County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Program in July 2017. He currently manages nine parks and preserves that include Fickett Hammock Preserve, Bayport Park, Linda Pedersen Park, Jenkins Creek, Peck Sink, Lake Townsen, and Cypress Lakes Preserve.
